The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:- Call on commercial, educational and research organizations that operate animal facilities;
- Gain a thorough understanding of Innovive's products and services;
- Be able to clearly articulate Innovive's powerful value proposition;
- Oversee post-sale service process and interaction with client;
- Pursue in-depth industry and application knowledge;
- Acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills;
- Participate in industry organizations, sales department meetings and trade shows.
We are seeking an individual with the following qualifications:- Bachelor's degree with two to four years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience;
- Experience selling into the laboratory marketplace - experience with laboratory animal products preferred OR deep experience with laboratory animal products with a desire to assist institutions with the purchase and implementation of Innovive equipment and services;
- Moderate financial expertise and/or an aptitude to learn and competently use company cost comparison tools in the sales process.
This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer. The compensation includes base salary plus very high commission potential. Innovive offers comprehensive health and dental and a 401k plan.
